Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1828-1882) - an outstanding English poet, translator, illustrator and artist, one of the creators of the famous "Brotherhood of the Pre-Raphaelites" - an association of poets who sought to return art to its pre-Raphaelian naive form, to aesthetic perfection and harmony, which was especially clearly manifested in the works born by them. The main literary achievement of D.G. Rossetti was the cycle "House of Life" of 101 sonnets, created throughout almost the entire career of the poet.
