The publication was published on the centenary of the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812 and is dedicated to both the Battle of Borodino and the campaign of 1812 in general. In addition to numerous schemes on the pages of the publication, at the end of the block there is a panoramic scheme of the 2nd attack in the battle for Semenovsky ravine and a color folding battle plan on the Borodino field.
