Practical examples describe the development of Web applications in PHP versions 5 and 6. Most of the example code is compatible with both PHP versions, but special attention is paid to the new PHP 6 functions. The beginning of PHP programming is given: installation and configuration of PHP and MySQL, selection of the PHP code editor, syntax basics and the most useful PHP functions.
