The book describes the technique for selecting wires for high and ultra-high voltage overhead power lines. The possibility of significantly increasing the capacity of overhead power lines by increasing the number of wires in phase has been shown. Design features of conventional overhead lines and lines of increased natural power with an increased number of wires in phase are given.
