The most up-to-date information on theoretical and practical problems of building sound reinforcement systems for open spaces and enclosed spaces is presented. A quantitative assessment of the directional properties of microphones and loudspeakers, amplification of sound pressure, the effect of sound reinforcement systems on the architectural and acoustic parameters of rooms is given. Practical examples of application of sound reinforcement systems are considered.
