Robotics is the science and practice of designing, manufacturing and applying robots. A modern robot is "an actuator programmed by two or more degrees of mobility, having a certain degree of autonomy and capable of moving in the external environment in order to perform tasks as intended." Industrial robots (PR) are used to automate production processes. This is effective in conditions of multi-item production. It is characterized by a frequent change of manufactured products. An industrial robot perceives the environment using sensors; understands and recognizes the world around him; builds models of its own behavior to perform technological operations defined by it; affects the material world around him.
