Isai Kalistratovich Kalashnikov (August 9, 1931, the village of Sharaldai, Mukhorshibirsky District, Buryat Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - May 30, 1980, Moscow) is a Soviet writer known for his historical novel about Genghis Khan "The Cruel Age" (in two parts - "Persecuted" and "Persecutors") (1978).
