The dictionary contains about 60 thousand words and phrases of modern Chinese with translation into Russian. It is based on materials from modern Chinese literature and periodicals. The dictionary includes up to 5700 hieroglyphs and is built according to the graphic system traditionally adopted in Soviet lexicography, with adjustments for modern spelling.
