We, Russians, unlike other peoples who have overtaken us in education, know little of our Patriotic History and do not sufficiently honor its important events and its great heroes, and we must use each case to expand deepen our knowledge in the field of our historical past. Excellent reasons for this are given by the celebration of historical anniversaries that has become our custom.
