In the book, taking into account the operating conditions, the tasks of automation are formulated and the parameters of automatic regulation of the limitation and protection of power plants of marine transport vessels are justified. Properties of units and systems of diesel and gas turbine plants as control objects, as well as properties, design and arrangement of regulators and control systems are considered.
