Violet Shear, a junior police officer, is tasked with investigating the disappearance of several witches. A thin thread of evidence stretches to the Midnight Academy, and the authorities decide to introduce it there under the guise of an ordinary student. The girl alone has to unwind a tangle of secrets, look closely at employees and students, try to find out the motives for the crime, because her partner remained outside the gates of the academy and is investigating another, no less strange matter. But this is not the only assignment that Violet receives. The head of the Shi vampire clan wants his young ward to follow the overly willful dean of the law school.
