The book is dedicated to the history of the Kachkanar mining and processing plant. It covers the period from the beginning of industrial exploration of ore deposits in its future territory three centuries ago to the present day. For the first time, the technical, technological, economic and socio-cultural development of the plant is shown against a wide historical background. The book is based on rich archival material, memoirs of direct participants in the construction of the plant, its veterans and contemporaries.
