The book is devoted to the study of the urgent and important for Kazakhstan problem of national identity. The main methods of studying the national identity of Kazakhstan, the author chose ethnocultural symbolism and constructivism. National identity is explored through symbols that are chosen, developed, and offered to Kazakhstan's ethnic, linguistic, and cultural groups by ethnic elites and the state. In the work, among the main symbols, the language, history, state symbols of Kazakhstan are analyzed.
