Readers are invited to read a book by historian, sociologist and jurist M.A. Reisner, which examines various socio-legal teachings in relation to their role and place in society and the state. The first part of the book explores the psychological theory of law of the outstanding lawyer L.I. Petrazhitsky and his special system of "intuitive" law. The second part is devoted to the theory of the state in the teachings of Karl Marx; at the same time, it is indicated that the merit of Marxism is to clarify the foundations of state ideology in the psychology of each individual class. The third part deals with some socio-political ideologies; their contradictions and the impossibility of resolving the latter within the framework of class society are shown.
