The collective study "Greeks and Barbarians of the Northern Black Sea Region in the Scythian Era" is an original systematic development of the main range of issues that together form the problem of Greek-barbarian relations in one of the largest divisions of the ancient "borderland" - the Northern Black Sea region, starting from the moment the first Hellenic colonies appeared here (Istria in Northern Dobruja, Borisfen and Olbia in Lower Pobuzhie and Panticapaeum in Northeast Crimea) and ending with the collapse of the "Great Scythia" under the blows of the Sarmatians.
