The processes of drying (convective, conductive and radiation) and washing from various contaminants of textile materials are considered on a single methodological basis of the theory of mass transfer. The main attention is paid to the physicochemical nature of the processes under consideration and taking into account the properties of materials as objects of appropriate technological processing. Methods of engineering calculation of drying and washing processes are described, specific recommendations are given.
