In the collection dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Russian historian-medievalist K.D. Avdeeva (1925-1995), scientific articles are presented covering a wide range of little-studied problems of historical thought and historiography of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, as well as translations of historical and historical-philosophical texts of the 6th-17th centuries that have not yet been translated into Russian. The collection is intended for scientists, university teachers, graduate students, students and everyone who is interested in the history of forms of historical consciousness of past centuries.
