The monograph includes three essays on the political history of Russia, devoted to the key, according to the author, political events in the period 1991-2008. The first essay is a study and analysis of political decisions and actions aimed at building a political and state regime under President V. Putin, called the "vertical of power" and which turned out to be an expensive road for Russia.
