Ernest Seton-Thompson (1860-1946) was a British-born Canadian-American author, animal artist, naturalist and social activist. One of the founders of the scout movement in the United States. Seton-Thompson liked life outside the city walls, in forests and prairies. All his work is permeated with love for nature, for wild animals.
