This collection of poetic works by V.A. Zhukovsky aims to present the most significant and characteristic of the poet's works, to give his artistic appearance in historical development, as comprehensively and holistically as possible. The construction of the collection is genre. The compilers divided the poet's creative heritage into four genre groups - poems, ballads, poems and novels, fairy tales. Within each section, the works are arranged in chronological order. Among the poems and poems included in the collection there are many translations, which allows readers to appreciate Zhukovsky's contribution to the domestic literary translation.
