For the first time, Belarusian scientists on the basis of extracts from zemstvo and city courts, which are stored in the National Historical Archive of Belarus, provide data on the life time, marriages, offspring and ownership of the estates of the gentry of the Lida district of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the XVIII century. In addition, the appendix contains lists of all residents of the district at the time in question. These data are excellent material for local history and a starting point for a detailed study of the genealogy of the genera mentioned in the lists. Addressed to a wide range of readers.
