History of the 3rd cavalry corps aims: a) to capture on the pages of the history of the Red Army a brief but glorious combat past of the 3rd cavalry corps and its campaigns against the white poles; b) give the younger generation examples of the heroism and courage of the red cavalryman: the valiant soldiers of the 3rd cavalry corps not only during the attack on Warsaw, but also during the retreat, despite the chaos, panic and disorganization of the rear, showed the greatest heroism and self-sacrifice; c) take into account the mistakes made by the command staff of the 3rd cavalry corps during the described operations, so that in future battles our cavalry regiments lead to victories more skillfully and with less losses; d) based on the analysis of historical material and the action of the corps, give some conclusions for the future.
