For the first time, the work "Yenisei Province" of the first governor in the history of Krasnoyarsk, Alexander Petrovich Stepanov, is reprinted in full. This valuable comprehensive study was created after his nine-year tenure. Abundant field material collected during frequent trips, acquaintance with local archives and literature allowed A.P. Stepanov to give a vivid style and complete description of the flora and fauna, number, class composition and household structure of the Russian and indigenous population of the province.
