The proposed tutorial describes methods for studying the thermal modes of electronic equipment. Basic ideas and principles are formulated that allow studying the temperature fields of complex bodies with energy sources, thermal models of various designs of electronic devices are considered and methods for calculating their thermal modes are proposed. Much attention is paid to the analysis of physical and geometric parameters for the thermal mode of the devices and specific examples of calculation.
