The book of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Viktor Berlinskikh is entirely based on the diaries for 1909-1924 of Nina A, a Vyatka gymnasium student, then a Petrograd student, then a poetess and a modest employee of the regional library. Her whole soul is filled with art, her range of interests is poetry, painting, music. The diaries show the incredible richness of the Russian life that had developed by 1917 with all its worldviews, perceptions, way of thinking, honed culture of feelings.
