The reference manual is a conceptual and terminological dictionary and includes both sociological and some other terms that are used in their scientific practice not only by sociologists, but also by a wider range of social scientists. Volume 3 deals with interdisciplinary research and covers areas of social knowledge such as ethnography, moral sociology, demography, social psychology, and personality sociology.
