The monograph discusses the mechanism of action of antioxidants of the class of substituted phenols, their reactivity, as well as the structure and reactivity of phenoxyl radicals formed from them and the products of their oxidative transformations. The relationship of the effectiveness of these compounds with their structure and reactivity is shown.
