The monograph outlines the geophysical foundations of space geography - a new interdisciplinary area of ​ ​ research of the natural environment using space tools. Modern ideas about the Earth's shells obtained by traditional methods are given, and new approaches to their study from space are described. Physical bases of optical and radiophysical methods of remote sensing and perspectives of satellite methods of solving problems of space geology are considered.
