The book is a Russian translation of the only complete scientific study of the political history of the Parthian state, which, along with Rome, the Kushan kingdom and the Han Chinese Empire, was one of the four "world" powers of the late antiquity, throughout its almost five hundred years of existence (about 250 BC - about 230 BC e).
