This book, as the title suggests, is about sins. But not the obvious sins of our society, but the inconspicuous sins of Christians. As you know, believers do not gossip, but "share prayer needs"; they do not lie, but "show flexibility in communication"; they are not stingy, but simply "wise at the disposal of God's resources", not greeds on the worldly, but "trying to keep up with the times"... The author's growing conviction that more and more people who call themselves evangelical Christians are sometimes so concerned with the flagrant sins of the world around them that they completely lose sight of the need to deal with their own, more "refined" and inconspicuous sins.
