The textbook more widely than in previous editions examined the nomenclature of the most important groups of building materials, covered the theoretical foundations of the technology for the production of astringent materials, precast reinforced concrete, asbestos-cement and ceramic materials, polymer-based products, etc. A comparative technical and economic analysis of the efficiency of production and use of the most important materials and products is given.
