Almost all the plays of the collection of the famous French writer Jean Girodou (1882-1944) in this collection were published in Russian for the first time. The dramas Siegfried, Amphitryon 38, Intermezzo, Electra, Crazy from Chaillot have been translated for this publication. Only the play "There Will Be No Trojan War" has been published before. The collection is equipped with an introductory article by A. Mikhailov, analyzing the playwright's career, and a commentary by S. Shkunaev containing the stage history of his plays.
