One-volume Lermontov Encyclopedia - the first personal encyclopedia in Russian. The book contains information on all aspects of Lermontology: articles or notes on Lermontov's works, summarizing articles on the main problems of his work, Lermontov's poetics and versification, Lermontov's connections with Russian and foreign culture. Separate articles are devoted to different stages of the poet's life path and the people with whom he met. Special articles consider the reflection of Lermontov's themes in art (music, theater, cinema), as well as the history of the study of the author's biography and work.
