The encyclopedia includes more than 1250 articles on the basic terms and concepts of the theory and history of literature, as well as on schools, directions, groups and gives their modern interpretation. For the first time, the book included concepts and terms that were absent in such publications, both related to genres, trends, circles, and related to Western literary criticism and literature of the Russian diaspora.
