The purpose of the dissertation research is a comprehensive study of the formation and development of the tradition of Christian female asceticism and monasticism in the early Byzantine East, that is, the dogmatic, mental, behavioral characteristics of a Christian woman in Egypt and Palestine in line with the ascetic tradition.
