This is the first series in which the reader meets Einar Son of War, with the island of Simskara, its customs, history, foundations of society and Simskar gray light. Also, the reader will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the distant and close relatives of the hero, with someone directly, with someone in absentia, and listen to several songs performed by the rising star of the skaldic scene. In addition, the reader will see the strength and power of the dark ruler of local importance, which, however, is not the most spectacular attraction of Simskara.
