Basic principles of designing technological processes and means of automated assembly taking into account modern trends in the development of assembly production. Structure and methods of automated assembly, manufacturability of product structures during automated assembly are considered. Information on the definition of collectability, basing and relative orientation of parts is given. Automation of assembly of standard (threaded, conical, key, etc.) joints and flexible production systems of assembly are considered.
