The book discusses the design of general-purpose electrical machines, the design features of asynchronous motors, DC machines and synchronous machines with a capacity of up to 1000 kW (at 1500 rpm); recommendations are given for the design of both series of electrical machines and individual machines; issues of computer use for machine calculation, as well as calculation assessment of their reliability are considered.
