The memoirs of the famous Russian detective Arkady Frantsevich Koshko, first published in France 90 years ago as "Essays on the Criminal World of Tsarist Russia," are of interest not only as stories of the detective genre, but also contain a description of original tactical techniques and combinations that could be the basis tactical decisions of today's investigators and operatives authorized to counteract criminal offenses.
