The book contains information on primary aluminum, methods for producing aluminum of various purity, structural features and properties of aluminum in the solid and liquid states. Multicomponent state diagrams are described, on the basis of which industrial aluminum alloys are created. Theoretical bases of thermal (mainly strengthening) treatment of aluminium alloys are described. Much attention is paid to the structural features of aluminum alloys, which determine the level of mechanical, corrosion and fracture characteristics.
