The book is the first fundamental textbook on heterogeneous catalysis, written by a domestic author. For the first time after several decades of hiatus, it gives a systematic presentation of modern achievements and views in this area. First, the general positions of adsorption and catalysis are presented, then there is a discussion of macrokinetics, and then microkinetics of catalytic reactions.
