The textbook was written in accordance with the working program of the discipline "Geodesy" for students of higher educational institutions studying in the direction of undergraduate training "Land Management and Cadastres." The text of the textbook includes 11 chapters that provide general information about geodesy, detailed methods for determining rectangular coordinates of points, including a new method - an arbitrary linear-angular network, instruments and methods for measuring angles, distances, excesses are described, methods of large-scale topographic surveys are considered in order to obtain topographic plans for conducting engineering surveys and designing engineering structures, methods for determining the area of ​ ​ plots with an assessment of its accuracy are described.
