A systematic description of the processes and aggregates used in the oil and gas industry is provided. The issues of general and oilfield geology were covered, the main stages of drilling, testing and arrangement of oil and gas wells were consistently described. The physics of the oil reservoir, the procedure for studying wells, the rheological and technological aspects of field development are considered. Methods of operation of production wells, systems of field collection and preparation of hydrocarbons for transportation, facilities of oil and gas storage facilities, bases of process calculations and peculiarities of operation of main facilities and equipment of main oil and gas pipelines are shown.
