The documents included in this Collection, which by no means have the significance of primary sources for historical science, can serve, on the one hand, for the exoneration of some parties to the political and everyday life of the Moscow state, which is the period immediately preceding the rule of the person, recognized by his contemporaries for the son of Tsar Ivan Groznago, Demetrius, so during his short reign; on the other hand, they will not be useless for the scholar of Russian antiquity, presenting him with the opportunity, with their help, to more precisely establish one or another name of the person, the name of the place, one or another date.
