Vladimir Alekseevich Erofeev (1898-1940) - documentary director, critic. In 1923, he was one of the initiators of the creation of the Association of Revolutionary Cinematography and its active figure in 1923-1928. In the mid-1920s, he spent 8 months in Germany for research purposes. The result of the research was a brochure offered to readers, which the author called "the next step in the study of the foreign film industry."
