The growing interest of the world in the political, cultural and economic issues of Eastern Europe, and in particular Ukraine, the second largest Eastern European state, encourages us to give this work away. This work, which gives a spear of selected writings about Ukraine in Western European languages, should at least somehow cause Ukraine to deepen this interest.
