Fundamental foundations of the theory of modeling are given, definitions of basic concepts of computer imitation are given, special attention is paid to the mathematical apparatus for formalizing processes in complex systems, the transition of conceptual models of systems to formal ones is methodically consistently shown, the methodology of statistical modeling of systems is given, the problems of interpreting the results obtained in relation to the modeling object are discussed.
