The publication is the first specialized study to identify the relationship of regulatory requirements for the organization of military discourse with the quality of command staff thinking, approaches to the organization of service and combat activities and the combat effectiveness of troops. The publication analyzes the sources of military discourse: the texts of military treatises, domestic and foreign military regulations, military dictionaries and encyclopedias. It is noted that modern military institutional discourse in military dictionaries and encyclopedias is codified, regulated in military regulations, and implemented in military rhetoric.
