The book focuses on developing applications for Windows and Linux using the Qt library versions 4.7.x and 4.8. We will discuss in detail the programming of three-dimensional and interactive graphics, databases, multi-threaded applications, creating your own widgets, describing the principles of working with XML, as well as using the latest Qt Declarative and Qt3D subsystems. A description of Qt classes is given in relation to solving specific problems.
