A multifaceted historical and archaeological study gives an idea of ​ ​ more than 60 archaeological cultures located at different times (from the Paleolithic to the early Middle Ages) within the Trans-Ural-Western Siberian super-region. The stages of economic, social and spiritual development of the West Siberian population from ancient times to the Middle Ages are considered.
